Per Tesch is a Professor of Sports Science and Exercise Physiology. He is currently with the Department of Physiology & Pharmacology, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, and an adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University and Ball State University. Dr. Tesch has published over 150 peer reviewed papers on the effects of strength training on muscle use and motor control, metabolism and morphology, and control of muscle growth from gene to whole muscle of various populations including professional athletes. Dr. Tesch has conducted military and space research with the US Army and NASA. He is the author of the revolutionary books Muscle Meets Magnet and Target Bodybuilding, and has appeared on major networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS and BBC. Dr. Tesch is the founder and a senior advisor of nHANCE driven by YoYo Technology – patented inertial resistance exercise using flywheel, serving astronauts, athletes and patients.
